ASAS Residential Short Breaks
Event Navigation

Aireborough Supported Activities Scheme organise between 5 & 8 residential short breaks per year.
The first of these takes place in Spring and the last in Autumn.
We cater for children & young people aged 8 years to 18th birthday, who have additional needs.
This includes; learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and more.
Places are available to children throughout Leeds who don’t currently receive overnight short breaks.
We have highly experienced leaders who are fully DBS checked and trusted members of our team.
They care for the children 24 hours per day, help with feeding, bathing and also sleep in the bedrooms with the children for their safety and security.
We cater for children with medical needs, special dietary requirements; challenging behaviours and we do whatever we can to make the whole thing a positive and pleasurable experience, not only for the child but we also understand that parents can be very anxious allowing their child to stay away from home for the first time and entrusting someone else with their care.
